Important: The exact sequence varies by procedure (single vs. combined), surgeon, clinic, and your schedule. After your date is confirmed, you’ll receive a clear prep e-mail with all steps through aftercare.
1) Before your trip – medical clearance & prep
- History & documents: We record conditions, allergies, medications, prior surgeries. Please bring any letters/labs you already have.
- Photos for a first assessment: Standardized images help align goals with reality.
- Optional video call (not standard): Short call on request for expectation-setting. Final medical decision and plan are always made in person on site.
- Prep e-mail: Checklist after booking (fasting for anesthesia, fluids/nicotine pause, any medication holds only with physician approval, skin/hair care, sleep position, need for an escort after larger procedures).
- Pre-tests: Required labs/ECG/imaging are organized at the clinic; bring existing results if available.
2) On arrival – consent, consults, pre-ops
- Informed consent: Clear explanations in German/English/Turkish; questions answered, forms signed together.
- Consult with your surgeon: On arrival day, the day after, or on surgery day—depending on schedules. Goals, technique, alternatives, risks, and aftercare are finalized.
- Pre-op & anesthesia clearance: Bloodwork, exam, ECG/imaging as needed; anesthesiologist’s approval.
3) Surgery day
- Follow fasting rules; arrive on time.
- Skin markings & final run-through; confirm consents.
- Anesthesia: sedation or general—procedure-dependent.
- Surgery → monitored recovery.
- Initial care: Pain control, antibiotics if indicated, dressings/splint/garments applied; you receive a personalized care & medication plan.
4) Local aftercare
- Day 1: Surgeon check and dressing change.
- Body/Breast: mobility guidance, compression, drains if present.
- Face/Nose: swelling control, cooling, sleep position.
- Day 2–3: Second check; fit-to-fly assessment; adjust meds.
- Day 5–7 (if still in Istanbul):
- Rhinoplasty: remove splint and/or sutures.
- Facelift/Eyelids: remove sutures/staples; scar care.
- Body/Breast: further checks; wound & scar management.
(If you leave earlier, we arrange suture removal near home and support you digitally.)
5) Suggested stay (guidance)
- Hair transplant: ~2–3 days.
- Single face/breast/body procedure: usually 3–5 days.
- Combined procedures: add +1–2 days for observation/recovery.
6) After you return
- Digital aftercare with photo/video check-ins (e.g., at 1, 4, and 12 weeks).
- Access to your aftercare plan, 24/7 urgent contact, and clear “call us now” criteria.
Quick checklist

- Comfortable front-opening clothing (handy after face/breast procedures)
